StoreFront Hub allows you to create promotions for your end users by setting a specific promotional rate for a brand.
Please note that only Partner Admin users can create, manage, or remove promotions.
1. Accessing Promotion Management
To create a promotion, log in to StoreFront Hub and navigate to the Your Promotions tab.
Under Your Promotions, you will see the following sub-tabs:
- All – Shows all promotions created by the buyer.
- Live – Shows promotions that are currently active.
- Upcoming – Shows promotions that have been scheduled but have not yet started.
- Finished – Shows promotions that have ended.
The Live, Upcoming and Finished tabs outside of Your Promotions relate to the promotions available for your account. These promotions are not configured for your end-users.
Important: StoreFront Promotions currently do not use the Promotions API. Promotions therefore need to be created manually within StoreFront Hub, including all relevant promotional information.
2. Creating a Promotion
To create a new promotion:
- Navigate to the Your Promotions tab.
- Click Create Promotion.
- Select the relevant brand.
- Only brands that have an existing relationship with the buyer will be available for selection.
- Enter the Promotional End-User Rate.
- The promotional rate must be higher than the brand’s standard end-user rate.
- There is currently no maximum limit on the promotional rate.
- Buyers are responsible for the promotional rate they set and should ensure that the rate remains commercially viable and does not negatively impact their margins.
- Select the start date and time for the promotion.
- Select the end date and time.
- Review the details and create/schedule the promotion.
Once created, the promotion will appear under Your Promotions → Upcoming until the scheduled start time. It will then move to Live while active and Finished once the end date and time have passed.
3. Updating or Ending a Promotion
At present, promotions cannot be edited once they have been created.
If you need to make a change:
- Upcoming promotion: You can delete the scheduled promotion and create a new one with the correct details.
- Live promotion: You can end the promotion early and, if required, create a new promotion with the updated details.
This means it is important to carefully review the brand, promotional rate, start date/time and end date/time before creating the promotion.
🚨Important Points to Remember
