ChoicePlus Theme Builder Instructions

Take Control of Your ChoicePlus Experience

Welcome to the new ChoicePlus Theme Builder. This tool gives you the power to create, customise, and deploy branded gift card redemption journeys in real-time. No more waiting for manual updates—your brand, your rules, instantly.

Getting Started

To access the Theme Builder, log in to your Tillo Buyer Hub  (this feature is only enabled in the new Buyer Hub)

1. Navigate to the Brands section in the sidebar.
2. Select Theme Builder.
3. Click Create New Theme to start from scratch, or select an existing theme to delete it or make it your default theme.

Note for Existing Users: Your legacy themes have been migrated and will continue to work perfectly. You can now use this tool to replace them when you are ready.

Branding Your Theme

The editor provides a real-time preview of how your ChoicePlus will look on both desktop and mobile.

Step 1: Logo & Visuals

• Logo Upload: Upload your brand logo (PNG or JPG recommended, max file size 5MB). For the best look, use a high-resolution logo with a transparent background.
• Banner Title: Update the message here to display your own message for your end users. Messages can be a maximum of 35 characters.
• Colour Palette: Use the Colour Picker or enter specific Hex Codes to align the portal with your brand guidelines.
  • Text Colour: Pick your text colour.
  • Background Colours: Pick your left and right background colours to create a gradient from left to right, or choose a single colour for both to create a block of one colour.

Step 2: Email Template

• Email: See how your email will look if you choose to use our Buy and Send functionality.
• Button: Use the Colour Picker or enter specific Hex Codes to adjust the colour for the button text and background. Make sure to pick colours with enough contrast so that your text is easy to read.

Step 3: Save and Apply

Once you are happy with your design it’s time to give it a name!

• Name: Give your theme a unique name (e.g., "Summer Campaign 2026").
• Save your Theme: Save your theme to be able to select apply it via the API or choose it when using our Bulk Buy features.
• Save and Apply your Theme: To set your theme to active - this means your new theme will be used if you don’t select a theme when ordering via the API or Bulk Buy (you can always change which theme is your active theme from the first page of the theme builder tool). 

Note: Each theme requires a unique name.  

Best Practices & Tips

• Contrast Matters: To ensure accessibility (WCAG compliance), choose a button colour that stands out clearly against your background.
• Seasonal Swaps: Use the builder to quickly update your look for holidays like Black Friday or Christmas without needing a new technical integration.
• Unlimited Flexibility: You can create as many themes as you need. Tailor specific themes for different departments, regions, or customer segments.
