How to Create and Manage Banners in Storefront Hub

StoreFront Hub allows you to create, schedule and manage promotional banners displayed on your StoreFront site, giving you control over the content showcased to your end users.

Banners support both desktop and mobile versions, allowing you to optimise how promotional content appears across different devices.

Please note that only Partner Admin users can create, manage or remove banners.

1. Accessing Banner Management

To manage your banners, log in to Your StoreFront and navigate to the Banner tab.

Here, you can view and manage your existing banners, including:

• Default Banners – Banners displayed when no scheduled banner is active.
• Live Banners – Scheduled banners that are currently active on your StoreFront.
• Upcoming Banners – Banners that have been scheduled but have not yet started.

Important: Previously expired banners are not currently displayed in the banner list.

Additionally, any banners previously scheduled by the Tillo team will not appear here. Only banners created and scheduled directly through StoreFront Hub will be visible.

2. Creating a Banner

Creating a new banner involves two steps:

Step 1: Add Banner Details

1. Navigate to the Banner tab.
2. Select the option to create a new banner.
3. Enter the following details:
   • Linked Brand (Optional) – Select the brand you would like end users to be directed to when clicking the banner.
   • Banner Name – Enter an internal reference name for the banner. This will not be visible to end users.
   • Start Date and Time – Select when you would like the banner to go live.
   • End Date and Time – Select when the banner should stop displaying.
4. Review the details before proceeding to the next step.

Please note:

• Both a start and end date are required for scheduled banners.
• Scheduling is based on your StoreFront site’s configured timezone, not your personal timezone.
• The system automatically detects scheduling conflicts and prevents scheduled banners from overlapping.

Step 2: Upload Banner Images

Once you have entered the banner details, upload the images you would like displayed on your StoreFront.

The following image requirements apply:

Important:

• Banner images must be supplied by you and meet the exact dimensions specified above.
• Mobile images are optional but recommended to provide a better viewing experience for end users accessing your StoreFront on mobile devices.
• If your StoreFront supports multiple languages, you can upload additional language-specific banner images.

Once the required images have been uploaded, review the details and complete the banner creation process.

Scheduled banners will display on your StoreFront during their configured start and end dates.

3. Editing an Existing Banner

You can edit banners directly through the Banner tab in StoreFront Hub.

The ability to edit a banner depends on its current status:

• Default Banners: Can be edited at any time.
• Upcoming Banners: Can be edited before their scheduled start date.
• Live Scheduled Banners: Cannot be edited once they have gone live.

To edit an eligible banner, select the banner and follow the same two-step process used when creating it.

Important: If you need to make changes to a scheduled banner that is already live, you must delete the existing banner and create a new one with the correct details and images.

4. Deleting a Banner

Banners can be deleted directly through the Banner tab.

You can delete:

• Default banners
• Upcoming scheduled banners
• Live scheduled banners

Important: Deleting a banner is permanent and cannot be undone.

If a live scheduled banner is deleted, your StoreFront will automatically revert to the default banner, provided one has been configured.

We recommend keeping a default banner in place to ensure your StoreFront continues displaying promotional content when scheduled banners end or are removed.
