Whether you have a direct relationship with a brand or you're using Tillo’s extensive catalog, we’ve made paying for your gift cards simple and flexible.
Depending on your account setup, you have two primary ways to pay: Monies on Account (your float) or Pay by Invoice.
Option 1: Monies on Account (Your Float)
Using your "float" is the fastest way to trade. Once funds are loaded, orders process instantly.
For detailed instructions on how to transfer money to your float, see article: How do I transfer money to my float?
How to load your float
Before you can purchase, you need to transfer funds to your Universal Float.
Navigate to Monies on Account in the left navigation menu.
You will see your current balance. To add funds, submit a transfer request.
A confirmation page will appear with the appropriate Bank Details and a unique 10 digit Payment Reference number. This reference is essential for matching your payment, so be sure to copy it accurately.
Use the payment reference number as the memo or payment note.
💶 Multi-currency transfers
We keep it simple: send the currency that matches your float.
GBP Float: Send GBP to the GBP bank details provided.
EURO Float: Send EUR to the EUR bank details provided.
USD Float: Send USD to the USD bank details provided.
Once our Finance team receives the funds, your balance updates immediately, and you’ll receive a notification email.
Option 2: Pay by Invoice
If you prefer not to maintain a float, you can pay for each bulk order individually via invoice.
Build your order and click Proceed to Payment.
Select the Pay by Invoice option.
Add a PO Number: You can enter your own Purchase Order reference here, which will appear on the proforma invoice we generate for you.
Click Place Order.
What happens next?
You will receive an email with a proforma invoice.
Your order will sit at 0% progress in the Hub until payment is received and approved by our Finance team.
Once approved, your order starts processing automatically, and you’ll receive a final invoice for your records.
Direct Brand Relationships
If you have a direct contract or credit agreement with a specific brand, you will use your existing relationship terms. In these cases, you will typically see the option to pay via your specific brand credit or float during the checkout process.
Summary of Payment Options
| Method | Speed | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Monies on Account | Instant | Frequent orders and fast turnarounds. |
| Pay by Invoice | Manual | One-off orders or teams with strict PO processes. |
| Direct Relationship | Contract-based | High-volume spend with a specific retailer. |
